The Professional Skills Course is our original core business, which has grown in each of the 10 years that we have been in business.
For the past three years, we have offered a Public PSC Course at Bournemouth University. The Professional Skills Course represents excellent value for money and comprises 3 compulsory core modules undertaken during 8 days of face-to-face tuition.
The PSC Course has been developed for in-house presentation to large City and National firms. As the only public course that SCC runs, this is a unique opportunity to experience such training locally.
SCC pride themselves on the relevance of the PSC for inexperienced trainees. Course design and delivery is based upon sound academic learning and training theory, backed up by extensive practical experience of skills based training. All sessions are workshop based. This common sense approach means that trainees leave the Course feeling confident and well equipped for any problems that they may encounter during their training contracts.
SCC has built up an impressive client list of City firms, which includes Denton Wilde Sapte, Nabarro Nathanson, Lovells, Richards Butler, Kendall Freeman, Berwin Leighton Paisner, Baker & McKenzie and Hammonds. Years of experience in the PSC training market is reflected in courses that focus on skills and insights that will be of real relevance and benefit for trainees as they embark on their legal careers.
Bookings are now being taken for these Courses which are held at Bournemouth University (Talbot Campus).
