Public PSC: Alternative Dispute Resolution Workshop
A one-day workshop that serves as a practical introduction to different forms of ADR.
Delegates will leave the workshop with insight and understanding as to the way in which their clients (both in litigation and transactional scenarios) may exploit different ADR methods.
In addition to a general overview focus will be given to the role of mediation and its ability to help disputing parties communicate and promote reconciliation, settlement, or understanding between them.
A mock mediation will enable delegates to experience the unique way in which Mediation helps disputing parties by:
- Involving the individuals in the process
- Deals with feelings and issues
- Is based on fairness
- Is less expensive than litigation
- Is a fast way to settle most disputes
- Is confidential and off-the-record
